I ♥ My Family Photo Contest
A contest for families -- to show BC your fun side!
Your family knows how to have fun! You do it all the time, and sometimes the best family fun happens in the most unexpected moments!
We asked you to show the rest of BC your family at its' funnest, and did you ever, in our online photo contest! The submissions were sometimes candid, sometimes goofy, but always reflected the best of family life. Petra Stolle Stewart and Jenniefer Bolton!
Fan Fav Photo
Petra takes home the prize as fan favourite, with a total of 34 votes for her charming picture of her young twins.
Petra writes: "These are our twins having fun even though we're waiting in line for the ferry from Nanaimo to Vancouver. I love that we are always having fun no matter the occasion and they have a special ability to always make us laugh! We are so lucky to have them in our lives. ... We've lived all across Canada, from Nova Scotia to Winnipeg to Calgary, and we wouldn't want to raise these kids anywhere but BC!"
BC Council for Families' Pick
Jenniefer Bolton's heartwarming photo of herself and her parents on their graduation day speaks so eloquently to the importance of family support that it won the juried prize.
Jenniefer writes: "♥ I love my family because we support each other. In anything we do in our life, my
parents are always there to support us. As we support them. Here's a picture of the 3 of us on our grad day. We worked hard to get to that day, and I'm proud of all of us :) ♥"
