Changing Fathers, Evolving Practices Workshop
Changing Fathers, Evolving Practices includes a workbook and four mini-workshops. You'll cover:
1. Awareness of the role of fathers.
2. Making room for fathers in our agencies and services.
3. Development of individual and collective practices.
4. Promoting paternal involvement.
The workshop is well established and receives excellent feedback from participants. Participants report that the opportunity to engage in some community strategizing and planning around the issue of fathering is warmly welcomed. Follow up with participants also indicates that new initiatives for fathers are occurring as a result of the training.
