How do young parents and their families benefit?
Young families are vulnerable to a variety of social and economic risks. We recognize that young parents need access to quality programs and a dedicated, informed source of support. Young parents benefit from resources from a wide range of services including health, housing, education, life skills, healthy child development, and income.
As a member of the BC Alliance for Young Parents, you'll bring knowledge and information of the latest techniques and resources for families, as well as the discussions, updates, and support from fellow Alliance members.
BCAYP is a source of advocacy on the behalf of BC's young parent professionals, young parents, and their children. We listen to the needs and concerns presented by young parents and work hard to advocate for quality programming and services for them
