Benefits for Families

There is no membership fee, but we invite you to make a donation if you are able. Once you register, there is no renewal of membership required and you can easily change your membership or communication preferences at any time.

Benefits for Professionals

Connection: As a Council member you'll receive regular e-bulletins and e-newsletters on recent developments affecting the family service sector across BC. In addition, members receive a complimentary copy of the Council's quarterly magazine, Family Connections.

Advocacy: Your membership in the BC Council for Families ensures there is a voice for families in BC.  Members are part of a provincial organization which promotes the interests and concerns of families to government, policy makers and the media.

Networking: Become part of the provincial network of family supporters. 

Participation:  Members are entitled to a vote at the Annual General Meeting. Members may also nominate candidates for the Distinguished Service to Families award, presented annually to individuals or organizations that have made a significant contribution to family living in BC.

Preferred Member Pricing: Receive discounted ticket prices to BC Council for Families' events and workshops. That means it is more affordable for you and your organization to attend.
