My Tween & Me Parenting Program

Unearthing the full potential of parents' relationships to their pre-teens.

The My Tween and Me parenting program strengthens the confidence and ability of parents to positively influence their tweens. Parents with children age 7-12 can find encouragement in developing family relationships to prevent high-risk behaviour during the tween years -- and later on.

Become a Leader

The flexible, adaptive format of My Tween and Me allows you to serve diverse families. While the curriculum has an overall structure, you are free to explore issues and focus on areas according to the needs of parents in your community.

This responsive approach incorporates current research on the key developmental milestones of children ages 7–12, along with practical communication skills for parents.   Learn more

Goals of the Program

My Tween and Me is designed for all parents with children age 7–12. Because risk factors can make any family vulnerable, the program builds on parental relationships that will guide tweens into and through the teen years.

As parents become aware of the risks their tween faces, they also come to understand protective factors unique to their family, which can avert problems in later years.  Learn More
