Attachment and Regulation

This article by Diane Benoit,  from the Winter 1999 issue of IMPrint, the newsletter of the Infant Mental Health Promotion Project, defines attachment and explains its relationship with regulation as it develops in infants.

Infant Mental Health Promotion (IMP) is a coalition of professional representatives from service agencies dedicated to promoting optimal outcomes for infants (prenatal to 36 months) in collaboration with families and other caregivers.

IMP's online library, hosted on Sick Children's Hospital in Toronto, Ontario has many articles and resources for professionals working in the field of early child development.
